Snowy Hug

I knew when I saw Snowy Hug that it would be my favorite stamp of all time...and I was right (love it when that happens!)! This stamp is just, for me, the epitome of cuteness! I loooove it!
And I had forgotten that one of the perks of daylight savings time is that the girls are in bed by 7, not 8, which left me plenty of time to make this little card! I used Flower Soft for the "snow" and a few sparkly snowflakes for extra detail. Otherwise I left it pretty simple. My last card is stillll bothering me...I may totally dismantle her tomorrow! Poor Tilda! ;D

Revamped card for Inventory Challenge #4

I can't believe this is challenge #4!!! How fun is this? I wanted to post this card before we head out for St. Louis. Last night I was contemplating my card for the 7 kids challenge (see below) and the image I had in my head was NOT the final product that emerged (so annoying). Then I received an e-mail from my friend Danielle reminding me of the inventory challenge, which was ribbons and bows! I decided that was exactly what my card needed. So, of course, being a type A, I had to vamp her up before we left (otherwise I would be thinking about her most of the time!). She's still not exactly what I wanted but maybe inspiration will strike at the wedding (or on the long trip there!). Please stop by and see the BEAUTIFUL cards Christina, Danielle and Charlene created!

I finally have a computer!!!! It's not perfect...my husband has to fix the photo uploading thingy (technical term) but I figured out how to bypass it for now. I'm always amazed at how easy these things are for him while I fumble around completely lost! I'm so grateful to him!

Computer meltdown

Well, our computer was fried last night, which means no photo uploads for me until the new one arrives (Santa is dropping by a bit early this year at our house!). But I will have something for the Inventory Challenge #3 very soon!

My presentation to the art club was so much FUN!!! What a fantastic group of ladies! And being able to share my love of creating with others has completely recharged me so off I go to craft! ;D

Slider card

I had this Christmas card from last year where you could place a picture inside and it became a frame...but I decided I needed to make it into something else! So I put new paper on the outside, placed cardstock in the frame with a Merry Christmas greeting, and created a slider for the beautiful Tilda! Just pull the ribbon and out she pops, revealing the Christmas greeting! The stars on the corners of the frame anchor her in there and create a pretty embellishment too! Voila :D
I've also attached pictures of my workspace...you can see where the inspiration comes from!

Inspired by Grace

Grace colored this picture for me the other day and I was really taken with her colors...sort of a blue-green and grey. Normally she colors everything pink (what princess wouldn't?) so this was a pleasant surprise. I really like how this Tilda turned out...I should take my cues from Grace more often maybe?

We are off to the pumpkin patch...like a herd of turtles! ;)

BCA month is upon us and at Icopic, the challenge is to create a card using pink, white and black with the pink ribbon somewhere on the card. I chose to make the ribbon the focal point of the outside and inside a heart with words of encouragement along with a Happy Tilda.

This is the kind of day we are having at our house...Grace just came to me with this piece of paper and asked if I would hang it on the wall...it says "No Izzy!"
And she drew a pair of pants because apparently every time I turn my back Isabel tried to depants Grace!
