Baby Card

I have had this adorable moon forever but am just now inking it up (shame shame!)...my sister-in-law is expecting (only a few more weeks to go!  Hang in there Sarah!) and we don't know if it's a boy or girl...I was aiming for a gender-neutral card but this little angel always looks like a girl to me!  Maybe I'm biased by my two pretty princesses!

Pretty simple!

Ok, so we are always our own worst critics but I really didn't like this card at all!  So I took it apart and redid it, lol!
Here is the improved card!

This is on the back!  Lol!

For the following challenges:
Fussy and Fancy (baby)
Sweet Stampin' Challenge (moon and stars)
Totally Tilda (baby)
Totally Gorjuss (something new...a baby!  Lol!)

Thanks for stopping by and have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!

Rene :D

P.S.  Don't forget the new challenge at Tilda's Town this week: WATER FUN!!!!!

ADORABLE....thanks for sharing your talent!

Oh, you're too funny Rene! I think you were being too hard on yourself! I like the front of the first card because your paper looks quilted, but I like the inside of the second (or remade) card because the softer yellow is more appealing! That's IMHO!! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Are the kids out of school yet? Big hugs...Barb <><

Well I like them both! I love the paper you used on the first version, but I like it against the starry night sky too. A truly precious card that your SIL will treasure!

You are right, Rene. I am more critical of my own work than anyone else. Both card version are adorable, I think. They each have their own individual points of interest. They are both lovely cards.

Gorgeous Rene.. I'm with most everyone else. Love the quilted look most, but either one will do.. hey its only a baby card and she will love no matter which one you give her, it is the thought that counts.. I love them both only thought quilt because babies
usually get quilts!! But love both and layouts are great and you did a great job on both..
Hugs, Jean

Hi Rene, I think we are our own worse enemies when it comes to our cards - more often than not I look at my cards and think, hmmm could do better!!

Personally I think both cards are gorgeous - along with everyone else the quilted look is lovely on the first card and the clean look of the second.

Thanks for joining in with us this week at Sweet Stampin.
