I used the sketch from Papertake Weekly and my favorite Martha Stewart punch!
And I have some exciting news...I finally purchased a die cutting machine! Go me, go me! Lol! It should be here in two weeks...I've already purchased dies for it. Hello new addiction! What I need from you is suggestions for dies I really really "need." This could be dangerous!

Hi Rene, oh the joy of a new cutting/embossing machine!!! There are just so many dies and folders out there it is so hard to pick. My collection is made up mostly of Spellbinders Nestabilities and every now and then I see something made by someone else and "need" it. We don't get the variety here that you would find overseas, but gradually more brands are making it into the craft shops. LOL, I just bought a little picket fence gate yesterday.

THere are so many fun Spellbinders and Doohickey dies and lots of other companies too....good luck picking what you like because you will find you want them all! lol

Really gorgeous Rene - you get better and better every day. Right now I am in love with the Tim Holtz tattered flowers. He has several sizes. Also, memory box has wonderful dies. You are going to go crazy!! Have fun cute lady!! Once again, your card is fantastic and it looks to me like you had fun!

Gorgeous card! Love your border and the pearls. I have quite a few well maybe a lot of Memory Box Dies. Plus some others. The MB are pretty inexpensive so you can quite a variety. I guess it the look and what will be your primary use that will be your determining factor. But have fun purchasing!

Rene this is gorgeous! Wow such beautiful die cuts/punches and I lvoe the beautiful pearls. It is so nice to see some different colours! :)
So sweet Rene, love the colours..and dies?...well...I think you need a round set, and scallop to match, and oval and scallop to match...then go nuts....buy everything..mortgage the house...buy them all...

As for the dies, I just bought my machine some weeks ago so I'm reading along :D.
I was thinking on Nestabilities shapes (oval, round, square etc) with a lovely border. And leaves and flowers, butterflies. And.. and.. and.. lol. There is so much out there. I love the Memory box dies. I just look around at other peoples cards.

I love spellbinder(expensive)Cheery Lynn(intricate and beautiful) Marianne Designs (affordable and fabulous) there are so many to choose from but oh boy! you are going to have such fun looking for them.

Gorgeous card Rene :-) I love the image and the colours and details are fab :-)
The dies I use the most are the circle and scalloped circle spellbinders so I would recommend those as a 1st buy. the doohickey hesrt swirl would be the next most used,,, :-)
