Make it Monday!

It's time for another great open paper challenge at Make it Monday!  This week we are sponsored by the oh-so-fabulous Scrapbook Sisters!

Here is my project, using Christmas Girl With Presents:

I had grand visions of pleats in her pretty coat but I ran into a wall with my thumb (if you think it sounds stupid you should have been here to see me do it!  Lol!) so I kept it simple because my thumb hurt!  Lol!!!!

And now...drumroll please...my POTW!  Again, I could NOT narrow it down so here is my first pick:

From ScrappyCathy

Yum!  Love the sprinkles!

And from Becky:

I looooooooooooooooooooooove this one!  SO cute!

Have a great week and don't forget to link up your paper project at Make it Monday this week!!!!

I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous..LOL...I am jealous, I'm a little jealous..heee hee...You have made a beautiful Christmas card Rene. I have a total of 1 made. :D Yours however looks so relaxed and confident while shopping. This is obviously NOT a depiction of me during Christmas shopping. I'm always the one running around in circles screaming at the mall. I'll be sure to give you a heads up so you can show up and enjoy the show! LOL
Your POTWs are INCREDIBLE! Both so different and both soooo amazing! Great choices.
Hugs,
Lisa xx

Hi Rene

Oh you have done such a fab job with this pretty image. I don't have a single Christmas card made and that status will probably stand until a week before Christmas, lol.

You have picked two fabulous makes as your favourites this week. Love that icecream cone!

Yes, I agree with Lisa, this girl looks too calm for Christmas shopping. She does look very elegant, a fab Chrissie card, love the green and white dotty paper and that lovely holly and berries.
Two fantastic POTW. LOL Becky's card was on my short list, so I'm glad you chose it.

Fab to see two such different treatments of the same image within the DT - gorgeous card, full-on traditional colours, but the dots give it such a funky edge (and I love that they carry on inside). Super picks too!

So sorry about your thumb Rene. I did get quite a chuckle at your telling of the story. Coloring is gorgeous. Can't even tell you had a boo boo on your thumb! Love the inside of the card too.
