I've been enjoying a day and a half of silence...John took the girls to Iowa and I am relaxing at home solo!  They'll be back uber early tomorrow so we can spend Easter together.  Sometimes moms just need a break (and wine, lol!)!  ;D

Spring with Animals!

It's time for another great challenge at Stamp and Create with Magnolia: Magnolia Challenges for all Seasons!  This week our challenge is Spring with Animals and yes! that includes insects!  And it actually FEELS like spring today!  I'm getting ready to head out for a run and I couldn't be happier (ask me in about 10 minutes how I feel, lol!)!

Here is my creation, using my favorite image of all time: Tilda with Hawaiian Flower!  I love her! I also used the Alora paper pad from Bo Bunny and Sea Breeze mini paper blooms from Kaisercraft.

It's Sunday night here...Monday in Australia...so it must be time for a fabulous new OPEN PAPER challenge at Make it Monday!!!  Every week I am simply blown away by the talent of our team and participants! 
And this week we have a new sponsor!  Rick St. Dennis's Etsy store gave us a choice of images and it was rather difficult as they are fantastic! 

I chose Easter Turtle...because I'm obsessed with turtles!  ;D

Cupcake Time!

It's Palm Sunday...this time next week we'll be enjoying Easter service, followed by Easter lunch, followed by an Easter egg hunt!!!  It's one of my favorite times of the year...even if it does still feel like winter here in the Midwest!

Spring/Easter Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at Tilda's Town and this time it's Spring or Easter!  While I'd love to say I'm basking in the spring glow, it's snowing again!  Lol!  Oh well, spring will come eventually!

Here is my creation, using my favorite image from the new collection: Tilda with Egg and Chicken (I wonder which came first?!?) and Romantic Lace Doohickey.  I have to thank Mae for giving me the gorgeous butterfly die on my card...it's so pretty!

Spring!!!

That is Izzy's favorite "spring song" (forget for a minute that it's the ONLY spring song we know!) and let's hope she's right!  The past few days have been dark and dreary and I am ready for some sunshine!!!
