Slider card

I had this Christmas card from last year where you could place a picture inside and it became a frame...but I decided I needed to make it into something else! So I put new paper on the outside, placed cardstock in the frame with a Merry Christmas greeting, and created a slider for the beautiful Tilda! Just pull the ribbon and out she pops, revealing the Christmas greeting! The stars on the corners of the frame anchor her in there and create a pretty embellishment too! Voila :D
I've also attached pictures of my workspace...you can see where the inspiration comes from!

What fun!!! My husband will be beyond thrilled that I have forsaken new purchases until summer! (Well, except adhesive, Copics and Maggies!!)

Inspired by Grace

Grace colored this picture for me the other day and I was really taken with her colors...sort of a blue-green and grey. Normally she colors everything pink (what princess wouldn't?) so this was a pleasant surprise. I really like how this Tilda turned out...I should take my cues from Grace more often maybe?

We are off to the pumpkin patch...like a herd of turtles! ;)

Card for All that Scraps challenge

BCA month is upon us and at Icopic, the challenge is to create a card using pink, white and black with the pink ribbon somewhere on the card. I chose to make the ribbon the focal point of the outside and inside a heart with words of encouragement along with a Happy Tilda.

Not so angelic but awfully funny!

This is the kind of day we are having at our house...Grace just came to me with this piece of paper and asked if I would hang it on the wall...it says "No Izzy!"
And she drew a pair of pants because apparently every time I turn my back Isabel tried to depants Grace!
