Yesterday my oldest came to me crying because she is just so frustrated about the lack of justice in this world.  For her, as a 14 year old girl, it's so frustrating to want to do something but not knowing what she can do to help.  Please, be kind to each other.  We were put on this Earth to show each other love.  Thank you for letting me express that...now onto the challenge!

April Showers

April Challenge:  April Showers and Flowers!

I would be remiss not to take a moment to write about our current situation.  I am not sure what I have been doing for the last three weeks but keeping up my blog was obviously not one of them.  Easter was incredibly difficult but, for the most part, we have been doing quite well.  The girls miss their friends and their sports.  They are not hating virtual learning but my eighth grader is nervous about being behind when she starts high school.  I have tried to assure her that everyone will be behind..and therefore no one will.  I am proud of how well they are doing and all I can do is pray that a vaccine is developed and that people do the best that they can to protect themselves and their loved ones.  As someone with a chronic condition (asthma), I am relying on others.  As a control freak, that is terrifying.  But all we can do is take is one day at a time and count our blessings that we have everything we need to weather this storm.

Something Seasonal
